
Dragons Destroy Columbus, 62-41

The New York Dragons (4-3) defeated the Columbus Destroyers (1-6) 62-41 in front 12,289 fans at the Nassau Coliseum, the largest home crowd in franchise history. Quarterback Aaron Garcia went 14-of-21 for 203-yards and seven touchdowns and was named the Offensive Player of the Game. Offensive Specialist Will Holder finished with three touchdown receptions on 72-yards.
"We did all the things that you need to do to win football games," said Dragons Head Coach Todd Shell following the game. "We played well on offense and we got the turnovers on defense tonight."
The Dragons defense stopped the Columbus offense four times in the games. The Dragons will have their bye week and will next play on Sunday April 4, at the Carolina Cobras.
