Roberts (6-3, 257), whose hometown is Brooklyn, N.Y., attended the University of Cincinnati and attended camp with the Tennessee Titans following his successful college career.

All six players were signed after attending an invitational workout held by the Dragons coaching staff.

"I'm excited about the potential that these athletes have," said Weylan Harding, head coach of the Dragons. "Never this early in the free agent period have we been able to sign this many guys from our invitational workout. This shows the type of talent we are bringing in here and also makes for a competitive group as far as training camp is concerned. We are aiming for players who will provide what is necessary to overcome the 10-6 hump and make it to the ArenaBowl."
