
D'Orazio and Dunn add depth to 2008 Soul roster

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Soul have signed two more standouts for the 2008 season. QB Matt D'Orazio and OL/DL Anthony Dunn join the Soul with extensive Arena Football League experience.
D'Orazio (6'4'', 230 lbs., Otterbein) joins the Soul with a 2006 ArenaBowl title, numerous offensive player of the game honors and six AFL seasons under his belt. He will be backing up the Soul's quarterback Tony Graziani, who was resigned for this upcoming season.
Last season with the Chicago Rush, D'Orazio appeared in all 16 regular season games and completed 351 passes in 506 attempts. With a 69.4% completion rate, he was able to throw for 3789 yards and 82 touchdowns with only 10 interceptions. He was seventh in the league with a passer rating of 122.4%. He led the Rush with 134 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns.
In 2006, D'Orazio led Chicago to an ArenaBowl XX title. Appearing in 15 regular season games, he completed 305 passes with 443 attempts for 3,546 yards and 63 touchdowns with only five interceptions. His rating was 123.7 that year and he had a passing percentage of 68.8%. His outstanding performance was not ignored as he received offensive player of the game honors three times.
OL/DL Anthony Dunn (6'3'', 251 lbs., Northern Colorado) joins the Soul for his third season in the Arena Football League. The past two seasons were spent with the Colorado Crush where he put up phenomenal numbers both years.
In 2007 he appeared in all 16 regular season games, and registered 37 tackles, four sacks, one interception, four pass break-ups, three fumble recoveries and one forced fumble. He also had seven rushes for 11 yards and one reception for seven yards. In the playoffs, he appeared in both games and made 7.5 tackles.
Throughout his rookie season in 2006, Dunn appeared in all 16 regular games with six starts. He registered 26 tackles, four sacks, two pass break-ups, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble. He was named to the AFL's All Rookie Team, becoming the first Colorado player to do so. In the 2006 playoffs, he appeared in both games and rushed twice for eight yards.
