Divisional Round Dates, Times Set

NEW YORK - The Arena Football League's Divisional Round playoff dates and sites were announced today. The Wild Card schedule will be released next week.
Saturday, July 7
TBD at San Jose SaberCats, 3 p.m. ET (ESPN)
TBD at Dallas Desperados, 8 p.m. ET (ESPN)
Sunday, July 8
TBD at Georgia Force, 7 p.m. ET (ESPN2)
Monday, July 9
TBD at (Chicago/Kansas City), 8:30 p.m. ET (ESPN2)
The Mitsubishi Motors Western Division Champion San Jose SaberCats (12-3) will host an American Conference Divisional Round playoff game at HP Pavilion in San Jose on Saturday, July 7 at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN.
The Mitsubishi Motors Eastern Division Champion Dallas Desperados (14-1) will host a National Conference Divisional Round playoff game at American Airlines Center on Saturday, July 7 at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.
The Mitsubishi Motors Southern Division Champion Georgia Force (13-2) will host a National Conference Divisional Round playoff game at Philips Arena on Sunday, July 8 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
The Mitsubishi Motors Central Division Champion - either Chicago or Kansas City - will host an American Conference Divisional Round playoff game on Monday, July 9 at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
The winner of this Saturday's Chicago - Kansas City game wins the Central Division Championship. If Chicago wins, they will win the division based on a better record than Kansas City. If Kansas City wins, they will win the division based on a head-to-head sweep.
Opponents will be determined by the results of the four Wild Card Round games. The winners of the four Divisional Round playoff games will advance to the Conference Championship games to be held on July 14 at to-be-determined sites at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. ET on ESPN.
ArenaBowl XXI will be played in New Orleans at New Orleans Arena on Sunday, July 29 at 3 p.m. ET (ESPN on ABC; ABC HD).
