
Disciplinary Prefect hands down suspensions

BOUCHERVILLE, Tuesday, December 2, 2008 - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Disciplinary Prefect today announced three suspensions following incidents which took place during last week-end's games.
Océanic forward Félix Lefrançois is suspended five games for a hit to the head (code 4.34) which took place in last Friday's game versus the Rocket.
Screaming Eagles center Vincent Lavigueur gets two games for a boarding call (code 4.44) which he received in last Friday's contest versus the Huskies.
Finally, Voltigeurs winger Mike Hoffman is suspended two games for cross-checking a Baie-Comeau Drakkar player during last Saturday's game.
The decisions were rendered after reviewing the videotapes of the incidents and after consulting all concerned parties.
In accordance with the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the Disciplinary Prefect will not be available for further comment.
