Diesel's Linn Named Player of the Week

The National Indoor Football League has named Diesel quarterback Roger Linn as the Pacific Conference Offensive Player of the Week for week 9. Linn threw for 182 yards and 8 touchdowns while leading the Diesel to an impressive 80-43 victory over the Wyoming Cavalry.

He was 20 for 29 on the evening and threw at least one touchdown to four different receivers, he also ran for 26 yards on five carries.

Linn's eight touchdown passes is a new Diesel record for touchdown passes in a game, the previous record was six. He also led the offense to new team highs as they smashed their scoring high of 54 as well as average yards gained per rush (7.5 yards) and average yards gained per play (6.4 yards).

The Diesel hit the road again this week to play the Omaha Beef on Sunday and then return home again to play the Bismarck Rough Riders on Saturday, May 24th. Information and tickets for home games may be picked up at the Tri-City Arena box office or by calling (308) 338-8011.
