Details Announced for OHL Development Combine

Toronto, ON - The Ontario Hockey League today announced details for the on-ice sessions of the fourth annual OHL Development Combine powered by Under Armour taking place Saturday March 23 and Sunday March 24 at Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, ON.
The program, which began today with off-ice testing, offers 16 goaltenders and 80 skaters born in 1997 the opportunity to showcase themselves both on and off the ice to OHL member team personnel with Sport Testing results distributed to every OHL Member Team General Manager to assist in their evaluation for the 2013 OHL Priority Selection to be held Saturday April 6, 2013.
Sean Day of Detroit Compuware is a member of Team Red for the combine events and is the only 1998-born player participating after recently being granted "exceptional player" status from Hockey Canada making him eligible for the 2013 OHL Priority Selection.
The 2013 event marks the sixth straight year that the OHL has hosted a skills development day for players and goaltenders in advance of the OHL Priority Selection. Last season was the third powered by Under Armour and featured 13 players selected in the first round of the Priority Selection including first overall pick Connor McDavid of the Erie Otters.
