JACKSONVILLE, FL - Tuesday, February 1, 2011 - The Virginia Destroyers of the United Football League have established a front office presence in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia.

With preparations underway for the third UFL season to commence play in August 2011, the Destroyers have also identified staff members to support General Manager DOUG WILLIAMS and Head Coach JAY GRUDEN.

The Destroyers are now based at 249 Central Park Avenue, Suite 240, Virginia Beach, VA, 23462 and can be contacted on 757-962-8866.

"We have been active in the local market for several months and it is important that we establish a front office as we build towards the new season," said Williams, "The UFL is creating job opportunities and we aim to become an asset for the local community with a strong presence here."

The Destroyers have appointed four members of staff to lead the organization in the coming months: Director of Business Operations JOHN CASTLEBERRY Director of Public Relations DAVID SEALS Director of Ticket Sales & Operations RALPH ROSELLO Dance Team Director KIMBERLY VAUGHN

Castleberry has been a television sports anchor, television and radio play-by-play voice for Old Dominion University, ESPN Regional Television and Comcast Sportsnet and has worked the NCAA Basketball Tournament and the Liberty Bowl for Westwood One. He has been involved on the business side of sports publishing and sports talk radio and video production.

"Having worked in sports in Hampton Roads in a variety of roles, I recognize what the sports fans want," said Castleberry. "The potential for success here is tremendous. The UFL brand of quality football on the field, combined with an entertaining game day family atmosphere will be a hit. With a great deal of work I think the Virginia Destroyers can join Old Dominion University and the Norfolk Tides as fan favorites on the local sports landscape."

Seals has more than 20 years of experience in television and radio news management and producing. In December 2000, he began a nine-year run as Assistant News Director at WAVY-TV in Portsmouth, Virginia. He assisted in managing the number one news department in Hampton Roads. During his time at WAVY, David played a key role in the news department's coverage of major stories, including the 9/11 attacks' local impact on the huge local military community, and the aftermath of Hurricane Isabel in 2003. David's guidance helped the newsroom win numerous regional and state awards including the Edward R. Murrow and Virginia Associated Press Broadcasting awards.

Recently he worked as a Marketing Specialist for the City of Suffolk, VA, and assisted in developing media strategies, which resulted in generating positive TV, newspaper and internet news stories about Suffolk.

Rosello is an established salesman with more than two decades of experience with the Washington Bullets and Washington Wizards of the NBA and the Washington Mystics of the WNBA.

Vaughn was a member of the Washington Redskins cheerleading squad in 1998 and from 2000 to 2007. She was a four-year captain, a choreographer and was a 2007 Pro Bowl representative. She was a swimsuit cover girl and annual calendar model, won the Director's Choice Award every year from 2003 to 2006, won the Outstanding Leadership and Choreography Award in 2003 and 2006 and earned the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007.
