COLUMBUS, Ohio - As the Columbus Destroyers prepare for the start of their 2008 Arena Football League season with a road game against the Colorado Crush on Sunday, Mar. 2, the team has announced a limited-time offer featuring two season tickets, two replica AFL footballs and two Destroyers hats for $222. The Destroyers home schedule kicks off in the "Battle of the Buckeye State" against the Cleveland Gladiators on Saturday, Mar. 15 at 7 p.m., where the team will unveil the 2007 National Conference Championship banner on Huntington Field at Nationwide Arena.
The 2008 schedule highlights home games against all three National Conference playoff opponents the Destroyers faced on their road to ArenaBowl XXI - the Tampa Bay Storm on Apr. 5, the Dallas Desperados on May 3 and a rematch of the National Conference Championship game against the Georgia Force on June 7. The Destroyers will face the Philadelphia Soul in a special Monday night affair on Apr. 21 at 8 p.m. (ET), the game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.
