Dallas Desperados News Release
The Dallas Desperados kickoff the 2007 season with their first training camp practice on Monday, Feb. 5. In addition to the club's normal two-a-day workouts, the Desperados will host two teams (Austin Wranglers - Feb. 16-17 and Los Angeles Avengers - Feb. 23) for combined practices and a scrimmage and will also head to New Orleans (Feb. 8-10) to practice and scrimmage the VooDoo. All practices will take place at Texas Stadium unless inclement weather requires a change in venue. All on-field practices are open to accredited media, including the joint practices and scrimmages with the Austin Wranglers and Los Angeles Avengers. Following each practice, players and coaches will be available to the media for interviews.
Training camp opens with 37 players competing to make the final 24-man roster. Attached is a tentative daily schedule of events for training camp.
The Dallas Desperados kickoff the 2007 season in a regionally televised game on ABC at the New York Dragons on Sunday, March 4.
