
Denis Lemieux Appearance, Movie Screening Highlight Slap Shot Celebration

JOHNSTOWN, PA - The Johnstown Tomahawks will celebrate the iconic hockey film "Slap Shot" during this Saturday's 7 p.m. game against the Michigan Warriors.
Yvon Barrette, who played goaltender Denis Lemieux in the film will be in attendance, and the Tomahawks are also inviting anyone who had a role in the film to sign up for the Slap Shot reunion being held during the game.
All those who played a role in the film are invited to a special reunion in the Slap Shot Lounge, starting at 5 p.m. A special group ticket rate is available for those individuals and their family members and friends. Those wishing to take part in the reunion are asked to register online at www.johnstowntomahawks.com.
Following the game, a special screening of the film will take place. All fans 18 and over who purchase a ticket to the game are invited to stay for the screening, presented by the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies. Yvon Barrette will also be sharing stories and behind-the-scenes facts during the movie.
