Demonz Reach Long Term Deal with Head Coach

Trotwood, Ohio - The Dayton Demonz announced today that they have come to terms with Head Coach Trevor Karasiewicz on a 3 year contract extension.
Coach Karasiewicz lead the Demonz to the 2013-2014 Federal Hockey League Championship, the first championship of the Miami Valley since the 1975-1976 Dayton Gems. He was selected as the 2013-2014 Federal Hockey League Coach of the Year in his first season at the helm. Coach Karasiewicz' regular season coaching record is 40 wins and 17 losses and his playoff record of 5 wins and 3 losses.
"Coach Karasiewicz came into Dayton late in the offseason last year and he immediately began putting together a championship caliber team," stated Paul Contreras, Demonz Director of Operations and Marketing on the extension. Demonz owner, Barry Soskin said, "Trevor worked hard all season and lead the Demonz to bring home the Commissioner's Cup in his first season, we know he is the right man for the position and we wanted to keep him here."
"I am very excited to continue coaching the Dayton Demonz and keeping the Cup in Dayton," said Coach Karasiewicz after signing his new contract. "I would like to thank the Soskin family for all the support and making this possible. I would like to say that the fans in Dayton area are one of a kind and there is no other, we thank you. I would also like to thank my Assistant Coach, Jack Collins, as well as being beside me on the bench, he has taught me a lot and it was huge having a guy of his standards helping me in my first season, without him it would not have been possible." When asked what the fans can expect next season, Coach Karasiewicz replied, "Fans can expect the same blue collar guys, hard working and plays for the team first and are well respected in the community. There will be a lot of returning faces this year and we can't wait for October.""
