Demonz Prepped for Two-Game Homestand and Events

(Dayton, Ohio) - YOUR reigning 2013-2014 Federal Hockey League Champions, Dayton Demonz Professional Hockey Club, return to home ice at Hara Arena after being on the road for 2 fast paced games this Thursday (January 15th) and Friday (January 16th).

The Demonz host Western Conference rival Danville Dashers from Danville, Illinois this Thursday, January 15th, as the Demonz recognize local students by asking them to "Show Their Colorz" by wearing their school colors and gear. Thursday game also means it's "Thirsty Thursday" featuring $2 beers. Game starts at 7:35 PM (Gates open at 6:35pm.)

The Demonz present their annual Military Appreciation Night on Friday, January 16th, when they host Western Conference rival Steel City Warriors from southwestern Pennsylvania at 7:35 PM (Gates open at 6:35pm.) All active duty, guard, reserve and retired military personnel may purchase discounted tickets by showing their identification card at the Hara Arena Box Office window for $8.50 tickets, includes family member tickets.

The Demonz are honored to recognize those who have served and those currently serving in the military. Last season the Demonz' Military Appreciation Night's game worn jerseys were auctioned off following the game and proceeds were donated to the Wright-Patterson AFB Fisher Houses, the Fisher House Foundation is best known for a network of comfort homes where families can stay at no cost while the military member or a loved one is receiving treatment; the Army Specialist Jesse A. Snow Memorial Scholarship Fund at Sinclair Community College, "keeping Jesse's dream alive" of serving his community as a fire fighter, the scholarship is awarded to those who are persuing similiar dreams. This year the Demonz will again honor those who have served and those serving by wearing speciality jerseys that will be auctioned off immediately following the game. The proceeds this season will again go to the Wright-Patterson AFB Fisher Houses and the Army Specialist Jesse A. Snow Memorial Scholarship Fund at Sinclair Community College, along with the Wounded Warrior Project, a veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, service and events for wounded veterans.
