Dayton Demolition Goaltender Louie George Stops a Danville Dashers Scoring Attempt

Danville, IL - The Dayton Demolition looking to rebound from a 3-2 loss on Saturday night defeated the Danville Dashers 4-2 on Sunday afternoon.
It was a goaltenders duel to start the opening period with no scoring on either side. Dashers goaltender Dalton McGrath stopped 15 shots as Louie George stopped 9 going into the intermission.
Dayton would strike first in the second period with a goal half way through the frame by Robert Vanwysberghe. The Demolition would extend their leads late in the second period with a powerplay goal by Scott Kozlak and the Demolition would lead 2-0 going into the final intermission.
The Dashers came out flying for the third period, scoring twice early in the period to tie the game at two. Dayton would respond at 14:14 with a goal by Cory Giroux, assisted by Martin Uhnak and Patrick Harrison to bring the score to 3-2. Getting desperate for a late goal in the third, the Dashers would pulled goaltender Dalton McGrath for the extra attacker and Dayton's Martin Uhnak would capatilize with a empty net goal to seal the win.
Dayton's Louis George stopped 38 of 40 shots to earn the win as Dashers Dalton McGrath stopped 32 of 35 shots in the loss.
The Dayton Demolition will take on Port Huron Friday at home while Danville travels to Berlin for an eastern road trip.
