Danbury Titans News Release

The Danbury Titans Professional Hockey Team is proud to announce Faith and Family Night on Saturday, March 19th at The Danbury Ice Arena. This night will feature performances by the Christian band Pursuing JC. The pre-game show will begin at 6:50pm and puck drop is at 7:35pm. The band will be featured during intermissions as well.

The Pursuing JC band first started at Shelter Rock Church back in 2011 and began as a youth group band with just one song. However, once heard they quickly found that their level of playing ability gained them much deserved attention and they were soon invited to churches and festivals throughout Long Island.

In 2015, they performed over 80 shows and now have over 120 songs in their portfolio. The band has a reputation of producing an amazing technical sound along with lead singer Michael Ottavio, whose deep and powerful voice resonates throughout any room. And at only 14 years of age you won't want to miss the fast paced drumming of Corinne De Rosa, who's pink drum sticks are always well in hand. She was the 2015 Nashville Drum Off Winner.

The nine member band also includes singer and violinist Kelsey De Rosa (17), pianist Gregory De Rosa (15), guitarists Matt Carter (15), Alex Ottavio (13), Jordan Simpson (16) and Ann Paulouse (17) as well as singer Devin Simpson (18). In 2014 the band won the Got Talent Long Island, Audience Choice Award and was the house band for the Miss Long Island Teen Pageant, along with leading over 200 worship services, retreats & live concerts.

The group also won the Got Talent Long Island and Audience Choice Award.

All church groups will receive discounted tickets of just $12.50 for adults and $7.75 for kids 10 and under!
