WILMINGTON - Tony Snell knocked down a game-winning shot in overtime to lift the Maine Celtics (17-11) over the Delaware Blue Coats (17-10), 119-116, at Chase Fieldhouse on Wednesday night.

"The message today was defensively, we wanted to be gritty and offensively, we wanted to make quicker decisions," head coach Mike Longabardi said.

After exchanging the lead 31 times throughout the four quarters, the two teams went to overtime tied at 111, where the "first to seven" format was implemented. With the score tied at 116, Snell hit the clinching three for Maine.

Terquavion Smith led the Coats in scoring with 30 points off the bench, while Pat McCaw (19), Melvin Frazier Jr. (18), Chris Clarke (16), Rob Edwards (13), and Jared Brownridge (11) added double figures. Frazier and Clarke recorded double-doubles as well, with both grabbing a season-high 15 rebounds to pair with their point totals.

DJ Steward led all scorers with 34 points and put up 10 assists en route to a double-double, and Drew Peterson and Tony Snell both added 19 points. Kylor Kelley and Joe Wieskamp poured in double-doubles of their own, as Kelley recorded 16 points and 10 boards while Wieskamp put up 12 points and 10 rebounds.

The Coats will be back in action on Friday, March 15, when the Birmingham Squadron come to Chase Fieldhouse for Marvel's Captain America Night presented by AmeriHealth Caritas Delaware. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. EST.
