
Dekker Gets Shutout in Indians 50th Win

Indians goaltender Adam Dekker was named the NAHL Northern Division Defensive Player of the Week for backstopping the Indians to a 3-0 win over the second place Springfield Jr. Blues. The victory marked the 50th win this season for the Indians, which ties the franchise record for overall wins in a single season. Dekker kicked away 17-shots in the Indians final regular season game en route to his first shutout of the season. Dekker ended the season with a 10-3-4 record and 2.29 Goals Against Average. With the win, the Indians broke the NAHL's record for wins in league play, a record which the Indians set and tied during the 2000-01 season. The Indians record of 44-6-6 and 94-points sets a new franchise record for wins and points in league play.
