Defenseman Carl Hudson Heads Overseas

(Rapid City, SD) - The Rapid City Rush announced today that defenseman Carl Hudson has joined ESV Kaufbeuren in the German 2 Bundesliga. The Rush are currently on a season-long seven-game road trip that will span over two weeks.

Hudson appeared in all 35 games for the Rush, totaling five goals and eleven assists for sixteen points and 32 penalty minutes.

"Rapid City has been an unbelievable experience," said Hudson. "The organization, from the coaches, front office and ownership group are first class. The team itself is an incredible group of guys and championship contender and they will have no problem moving ahead. I had the opportunity to play in Europe and decided to take advantage and see what it had to offer."

The Rush face the Dayton Gems tomorrow at 7pm CST.
