LAKE CHARLES - The Swashbucklers have the best defense in the IFL. That did not prevent them from adding yet another powerhouse rusher in Sabree Anderson. Anderson is 6'4, 275 defensive lineman from Chaney College. He has played with the Laredo Lobos the past two years, last year making the IFL - All Star team and is noted for being one of the top defensive pass rushers in the league. "He's a beast, I remember setting up the offense according to what he did. Now he is on our side." Remarked Coach Lee.

Anderson will replace injured defensive end Anthony Camp who was placed on the injured reserve for a few weeks to rest his knee. Camp played on a strained knee last week against Katy and will now sit out at least four weeks to heal before the playoffs. "X-Rays where negative and it does not seem that surgery is needed for the type of injury he sustained. We still have more information to review with our medical team. The MRI will give us the next step" team doctor, Dr David Hardey explained.

Anderson will join a Swashbucklers defense that has played extremely well this season. The Bucs look forward to the next three games inside the friendly walls of the Smuggler's Den. Sabree will wear #10 for the Swashbucklers and will likely be moved from his original nose tackle position to defensive end, where he will replace Camp. "He will wear 10 for the rest of our season because he wore 5 in Laredo. That should make him twice as good here" added Nick Lincoln, Director of Player Equipment.
