Dayton, Johnstown Players Fined, Suspended

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Wednesday that it has fined and suspended players from Dayton and Johnstown as a result of their actions during a stoppage of play during the third period of ECHL Game #321 at Johnstown on December 21.

The ECHL also announced that it has fined both the Dayton organization and the Johnstown organization an undisclosed amount as a result of the actions of their players.

Dayton forward Tyler Kolarik, left wing Shawn Limpright, right wing Steve Dix, defenseman Alex Johnstone and forward Matt Herneisen have all been fined an undisclosed amount. Dix and Johnstone are also each suspended one game under Rule 33A Supplemental Discipline and Herneisen is suspended three games after being assessed a match penalty for spearing.

Dix and Johnstone will miss Dayton's game vs. Peoria (Dec. 26). Herneisen will miss Dayton's games vs. Peoria (Dec. 26), at Trenton (Dec. 28) and at Atlantic City (Dec. 29).

Johnstown right wing Dmitri Tarabrin and forward Jonathan Tremblay have all been fined an undisclosed amount. Bowman is suspended one game and Tremblay is suspended five games under Rule 33A Supplemental Discipline.

Bowman will miss Johnstown's game vs. Toledo (Dec. 31). Tremblay missed Johnstown's game vs. Atlantic City (Dec. 19) and will miss Johnstown's games vs. Toledo (Dec. 31), vs. Fresno (Jan. 1), at Trenton (Jan. 2) and vs. Trenton (Jan. 7).
