
Darrell Evans Joins OC Flyers Coaching Staff

Fullerton, CA (Jan 15th, 2008) -Darrell Evans, 2-Time Major League Baseball All-Star and former Long Beach Armada Manager, will be the Orange County Flyers' hitting coach in 2008.
Evans knows all about big hits. He collected 414 career home and was the first player in MLB history to hit more than 40 home runs in both leagues.
In his three season in Long Beach, Evans led the Armada to two Golden Baseball League Championship Series appearances. Evans and Gary Carter (announced in December as the Flyers manager), will begin building their 2008 roster on January 26th at the Flyers open tryout.
