Danny Mason and Donte Sawyer on This Week in the IFL

Episode 6 of the IFL's weekly podcast, "This Week in the IFL", is now available. The podcast can be found on the homepage of the IFL website. A pair of IFL rookies are featured on this week's program.

The first guest of the program is Green Bay Blizzard WR Donte Sawyer. After an illustrious playing career at Moorehead State (holds school records in career receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns), Sawyer has quickly become the Blizzard's top target in the receiving game. He currently leads the team in receptions (21), receiving yards (180), and receiving TDs (2) and ranks 2ndin the IFL in kickoff return yards (280). Despite a slow start for the Blizzard in 2014 (0-4) Sawyer shares optimism for the remainder of the season and talks with Puska about making the adjustment to the indoor game.

Additionally, Texas Revolution LB Danny Mason joins Puska on this week's show. The Texas Revolution are off to a 2-1 start and head to Wyoming to take on the Cavalry this weekend. Mason leads the team in tackles with 27, which is also good for 9th in the League. Mason spends some time with Puska discussing the competitiveness of each and every IFL game, the experience of playing for veteran head coach Chris Williams, and the process the Revolution has gone through to build team chemistry.
