Dance Team Tryouts For New Football Team In Greenville

GREENVILLE, SC...... DANZFORCE WILL BE HOLDING TRYOUTS JANUARY 24, 2009 AT THE MARRIOTT HOTEL IN GREENVILLE SC FOR SELECTION ON THE TEAM. THE TEAM WILL BE PREFORMING AT THE SC FORCE INDOOR FOOTBALL GAMES STARTING MARCH 21, 2009. THE GAMES WILL BE PLAYED AT THE BILO CENTER.
Following is information on the tryouts:
Date: January 24, 2009
Location:
At the Marriott Hotel, One Parkway East, Greenville SC, off of Pelham Road.
 *Serve as ambassadors of a first-class organization at charitable and corporate events.
  *Donate time and talent to the community through charitable projects.
  *Develop great friendships.
  *Learn dynamic dance routines.
  *Show your support for Greenville Sports
Format:
Preliminaries
Registration begins at 8:30 and auditions start at 9:00am.
Contestants will be lead in a group warm up and asked to do easy dance skills across the floor.
Contestants will then be taught a simple dance. After routine is taught, the contestants will have an opportunity to practice before performing in small groups in front of a panel of judges. There will be a cut at the end of the day.
Finals
The remanding contestants will be asked to come back on Sunday the 25th. On this day a more intricate dance will be taught and be performed at the end of the day. At the end of day, the team will be announced. (Location and time to be determined).
Qualifications
  *All contestants must be 18 years or older
  *All contestants must have a high school diploma or the equivalent
  *Strong dance skills and physical fitness are required
  *Those selected must be available for Wednesday night rehearsals and/or Saturday rehearsals.
  *Must be available for all South Carolina Force home games in addition to making appearances.
Audition Attire
Contestants must wear a two piece dance attire ensemble.
There is a $35 audition fee
