Greenville Force To Hold Mid-Season Tryout

GREENVILLE, SC (May 6, 2010) - The Greenville Force of the Southern Indoor Football League would like to invite local talent to come out for a mid-season tryout this Saturday May 8th at Heritage Park located on 861 SE Main Street.

Beginning promptly with registration at 9 a.m., the Greenville Force will be looking for talented individuals who can help the ball club reach the 2010 playoffs. Those attending will be evaluated in the 40-yard dash, 20-yard short shuttle, and a variety of team and individual drills by position.

Participants are required to wear grass shoes along with football attire (non-contact) as well as be prepared to pay a fee of $75.00. Those wishing to get a head start may also pre-register for $50 by visiting the Greenville Force at their home office located inside the Bi-LO Center.

With 2010 being their inaugural season in the SIFL, the Force has created a lot of excitement thanks to the dynamic duo of Andrew Webb and Isaac West. Webb is currently second in the league in total offense (291 yds/game) while West is tops in total touchdowns (15).
