Fundraiser for Oliver's Team This Saturday November 3rd
This Saturday, November 3rd at 7:35 PM, when the Danbury Whalers take on the Dayton Demonz there will be a fundraiser for Oliver's Team.
Oliver Ciparelli is the son of Bethel school teacher Chris Ciparelli and his wife Kate.
Oliver is 2 years old. He was diagnosed with Late Infantile Metachromatic Leukodystrophy in May 2012. There is no known treatment or cure. Come out and show your support for Oliver's Team.

Big Buddha Cigar Lounge Back on Board with the Whalers
The Danbury Whalers are proud to welcome back the Big Buddha Cigar Lounge in Newtown.

This Saturday, November 3rd the Danbury Whalers and Buffalo Wild Wings of Danbury present Teacher Appreciation Night
On this night, Buffalo Wild Wings extends an offer to all area teachers.
Receive a complimentary ticket to that night's Whalers game and enjoy a complimentary pre-game meal of wings and a beverage of your choice at Buffalo Wild Wings.

Whalers Announce Scout Sleepover
Camp Out at the Arena
This season the Danbury Whalers have put together and exciting promotion for members of the scouting world. On Saturday, January 12th, following the Whalers 7:35 pm game against the Danville Dashers, the Danbury Whalers will be holding a Boy and Girl Scout Sleepover event at the Danbury Ice Arena.
Whether you're a seasoned camping veteran or participating for the first time, the Boy and Girl Scout Sleepover event will be fun for the whole family.
The event breaks down as follows:
Scouts, Scout leaders, and their families can purchase tickets to the Whalers game
During the game, Scouts will be invited onto the ice to present the colors during the National Anthem
Following the game:
Scouts can set up their camp site/tent in the arena and lockerroom in the designated areas
There will be a schedule of activities throughout the night including:
Ice skating
An in arena scavenger hunt
Movies
All Scouts will receive a participation badge/patch which meets all BSA and GSUSA requirements
The following morning a light breakfast will be included
Cost for the event is $9 for Scouts and $14 for adults
The event is open to both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts
