Two Steps - All You Can Eat Big Juicy Danbury Whalers Burger Party Set for Monday 10/22

On Monday, October 22nd at 7 pm, the Danbury Whalers and Two Steps Downtown Grille will be hosting the first ever All You Can Eat Big Juicy Danbury Whalers Burger Party.

Fans will have a chance to try the world famous Big Juicy Danbury Whalers Burgers and top it off with fixings of their choice. Get the cheese want, the onions you crave, and load it up as high as you can get it. Once you're done and you eat it - do it again and have another.

Whalers players, coaches, and staff will be in attendance, share a table with Andrew Willock and ask him what he likes on his Big Juicy Danbury Whalers Burger.

Admission is $5 and is open to fans of all ages.

This event will be held at Two Steps on 5 Ives Street in Danbury.

This is an all-you-can-eat event so come hungry.

Space is limited, please RSVP your attendance to secure your spot.

Tom Devine, the owner and operator of Two Steps commented, "We started the Big Juicy Danbury Whalers at the beginning of last season. It is one of our most popular items. A night like this is a way to say thank you to the fans and get them ready for an exciting season ahead."

Danbury Whalers Assistant General Manager, Keith Lombard stated, "An all you can eat Big Juicy Danbury Whalers Burger get my mouth watering. Start me off with a medium rare camembert cheese topped with raw onion, lettuce, tomato, ketchup and Grey Poupon."

Meet the Whalers at Buffalo Wild Wings This Thursday October 18th

The Danbury Whalers and Buffalo Wild Wings have announced that on Thursday, October 18th from 7 - 9 pm, there will be the 3rd Annual Meet the Danbury Whalers Team Party at Buffalo Wild Wings on 26 Backus Avenue in Danbury.

As this is the first night prior to the start of Training Camp, all camp invitee's will be in attendance. This has been one of the most heavily attended events the past two seasons as it is the first full team event on the schedule.

The event is open to all Danbury Whalers fans and will feature complimentary appetizers including the World Famous Buffalo Wild Wings throughout the evening. In addition, the Danbury Whalers will purchase your first beverage.

Whalers vs. Bluefins Exhibtion

This Saturday in East Haven

The Danbury Whalers and Cape Cod Bluefins renew their rivalry and square off this Saturday, October 20 th at 7:00 PM. The two teams will play a pre-season exhibition game at the Patsy DiLungo Arena / Veteran's Memorial Ice Rink on 71 Hudson Street in East Haven, Connecticut.

Tickets for the game can be purchased through the Whalers by calling 973-713-7547 or at the Whalers ticket office at the Danbury Ice Arena. Tickets can also be purchased the day of the game at the Patsy DiLungo Arena. Admission for all fans is $8.

Danbury Whalers Head Coach / Director of Hockey Operations, Phil Esposito commented, "It's great to bring the Whalers back to my hometown. This the 2nd year we've brought a game to the New Haven area and we will put on a good show."

Whalers Announce Scout Sleepover Camp Out at the Arena

This season the Danbury Whalers have put together and exciting promotion for members of the scouting world. On Saturday, January 12th, following the Whalers 7:35 pm game against the Danville Dashers, the Danbury Whalers will be holding a Boy and Girl Scout Sleepover event at the Danbury Ice Arena.

Whether you're a seasoned camping veteran or participating for the first time, the Boy and Girl Scout Sleepover event will be fun for the whole family.

The event breaks down as follows:

Scouts, Scout leaders, and their families can purchase tickets to the Whalers game

During the game, Scouts will be invited onto the ice to present the colors during the National Anthem

Following the game:

Scouts can set up their camp site/tent in the arena and lockerroom in the designated areas

There will be a schedule of activities throughout the night including:

Ice skating

An in arena scavenger hunt

Movies

All Scouts will receive a participation badge/patch which meets all BSA and GSUSA requirements

The following morning a light breakfast will be included

Cost for the event is $9 for Scouts and $14 for adults

The event is open to both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts
