
Danbury Whalers Sign Forward Kelly Miller

The Danbury Whalers have announced that Forward Kelly Miller has signed an agreement with the team for the 2012-13 hockey season. Miller will be entering his 2nd season with the Danbury Whalers and his 12th overall as a professional.
Miller, a native of Toledo, Ohio, played 27 games for Danbury last season registering 16 goals and 16 assists. Miller was 2nd on the club with 207 penalty minutes. In 7 playoff games, Miller has 5 points. Kelly spent 11 games in the ECHL last season with Trenton and Elmira.
Last season Kelly's highlight reel included an overtime game winner on a 3 point night in Cape Cod and scoring a goal on the night he played his 500th professional game. Kelly also scored a goal in 3 straight playoff games and had at least one point in 11 straight regular season games from December 16th through January 14th.
Miller commented, "It's great to be back with the Whalers this season. This is an incredible town and the fans are just amazing and so supportive. It's a real honor to play for this organization and town and what it all represents."
