It's playoff time!!!
The Danbury Whalers have made the playoffs and enter the post season starting this Friday night, March 13th at the Danbury Ice Arena vs. the 1st Place Watertown Wolves. Gametime is set for 8 PM.
The Danbury Whalers have an all-time record of 9-4 in the playoffs at the Danbury Ice Arena. Including 4-0 against the previous organization from Watertown/1000 Islands Privateers.
Tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased by calling 973-713-7547 or by logging on to the team website at www.thedanburywhalers.com
Ticket prices are $16.50 for adults and $12 for kids under 10 years old.
The Danbury Whalers have made the FHL Finals in three consecutive seasons. The Whalers won the championship in the 2012-13 season by sweeping the 1st Place Dayton Demonz.
The Federal Hockey League playoff features two rounds between the top four teams in the league. The first round is a best of 3 series and the Finals are a best of 5.
Game 1 is in Danbury, Game 2 is in Watertown on Sunday at 5 pm, and Game 3 (if necessary) is in Watertown on Monday night at 7 pm.
