The Danbury Westerners, in conjunction with The Danbury Sports Dome, Fairfield County Bank, and a group of dedicated volunteers, are proud to once again offer the "6th Annual Chili Winter Warm-Up" at the Danbury Sports Dome on Sunday, February 23rd from 1:00PM - 4:00PM. This year we are pleased to announce that our Hot Stuff Title sponsor is Fairfield County Bank.
The Chili Winter Warm-Up provides fun for families, where there will be a series of activities for young and old, including chili sampling, soccer; face painting, coloring, magician, live music from Dave King and the Mad Hatters. Cost is $5.00 a person or $15 a family. Purchase your tickets in advance at http://www.eventbrite.com, "Chili Winter Warm-Up" or you can pay at the door.
All chili cooks are invited as the competition is open to nonprofit community organizations, fraternal organizations, restaurants/caterers, first responders and the general public. The entry fee for all divisions is $45 for a team of four and it includes a business card ad in the program. Nonprofit winners will be awarded cash prizes, 1st $600, 2nd $300 and 3rd, $150. The Restaurant/Caterer division, the First Responders Category and the Open category will receive plaques and bragging rights.
