The Danbury Westerners in conjunction with The Danbury Sports Dome, Fairfield County Bank, Berkshire Broadcasting, Durkin Awning & Tent Rentals and a group of dedicated volunteers are proud to once again offer the 10th Annual Chili Warm-Up at The Danbury Sports Dome on Sunday, March 18th from 1:00pm - 4:00pm. We're pleased to announce that our Hot Stuff Title sponsor is Fairfield County Bank.
The Chili Warm-Up is from 1:00-4:00pm and provides family fun including arts and crafts, a bouncy house, chili sampling, music, vendors and much more. We'll offer beer & wine for purchase by those 21 and over. The cost for the event is $5.00 per person or $20 for a family of four or more. All chili cooks are invited as the competition is open to nonprofit community organizations, fraternal organizations, restaurants, caterers, first responders and the general public. The entry fee for all divisions is $50. Non-professional winners will be awarded cash prizes, 1st $400, 2nd $200 and 3rd, $100. The Professional division will receive advertising awards and bragging rights.

The Danbury Westerners are sanctioned by the NCAA and supported in part by Major League Baseball. The club will celebrate its 24th year in the New England Collegiate Baseball League, a wooden bat summer league in 2018. Games begin in early June at Rogers Park in Danbury.
