DANBURY, CT: The Danbury Westerners in conjunction with the Danbury Sports Dome, Fairfield County Bank, Berkshire Broadcasting and a group of dedicated volunteers are proud to once again offer the 9th Annual Chili Warm-Up at The Danbury Sports Dome on Sunday, March 26th from 1:00pm - 4:00pm. We're pleased to announce that our Hot Stuff Title sponsor is Fairfield County Bank.
The Chili Warm-Up is from 1:00-4:00pm and provides family fun including arts and crafts, a bouncy house, chili sampling, live music, vendors and much more. For the first time, we'll offer beer & wine for purchase by those 21 and over. The cost for the event is $5.00 per person or $20 for a family of four or more. Purchase your tickets in advance at http://www.eventbrite.com, "9th Annual Chili Warm-Up" or you can pay at the door.
All chili cooks are invited as the competition is open to nonprofit community organizations, fraternal organizations, restaurants/caterers, first responders and the general public. The entry fee for all divisions is $50. Non-profit/Public winners will be awarded cash prizes, 1st $500, 2nd $250 and 3rd, $125. The Restaurant/Caterer division will receive plaques and bragging rights.
