SPARKS, Md., April 18, 2018 -- The Dallas Rattlers have added six players through the 2018 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft.

The Rattlers originally held the sixth overall pick but traded that pick and a second rounder to the Chesapeake Bayhawks for the fourth overall selection. With the higher slot, the Rattlers brought Yale attackman Ben Reeves into the mix. Reeves has been a star for the Bulldogs this season with stellar performances including four goals and three assists versus Villanova at the Patriot Cup held at Ford Center at The Star, the Rattlers' home stadium.

The Rattlers then went on to pick up midfielder John Sexton from Notre Dame, defenseman Chris Keating from Yale, midfielder Jordan Dowiak from Cornell, midfielder Sean O'Brien from Bucknell and McLean Chicquen from Jacksonville University.

Chicquen, a senior captain for the Dolphins, plays under the direction of JU head coach and Rattlers's goalkeeper John Galloway.

The Rattlers make their home debut against the Denver Outlaws April 29 at 2 p.m. For tickets, call (800) 413-6109 or visit DallasRattlers.com.
