The Dallas Rattlers have signed attackman Zack Greer to a multi-year contract through the 2020 season.

Greer was originally selected by the Long Island Lizards in the first round (third overall) of the 2009 MLL Draft. The 2018 season will mark the Duke product's first return to MLL action since 2014 as a member of the Denver Outlaws championship-winning roster. In 36 career games, Greer has compiled 59 goals and 24 assists.

"I'm grateful for the opportunity to sign a multi-year deal with the Rattlers," said Greer. "Going on 10 years in pro lacrosse, I've never played in the city where I've lived. It'll be great to have my family, friends and colleagues be able to come out and watch."

Greer was selected by the Rattlers in the fifth round (42nd overall) of the 2018 MLL Supplemental Draft. The 6'1", left-handed Greer adds size and agility to an impressive attack unit featuring former MLL All-Stars Jordan Wolf and Ned Crotty.

"This is a great team on the cusp of winning a championship, so I'm looking forward to joining this group, finding my role and seeing what I can do to help us accomplish that," said Greer.

The Rattlers first home game at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco will take place Sunday, April 29 at 2 p.m. Season tickets are on sale now by calling (800) 413-6109.
