Dallas Desperados Dancers to hold 2003-04 Auditions

In less than two years of existence, The Dallas Desperados Dancers have caught international attention for their fun, fresh, music video style and trademark black sequined chaps. Now the search is on for the 2003-2004 Dance Team.
Selected by the editors of D Magazine as a "Best of Big D" award recipients in 2002, the Dallas Desperados Dancers entertain at all home games and serve as ambassadors to the community by appearing at a variety of functions and events. The Dallas Desperados Dancers have the distinction of being the first AFL Dance team invited to support the U.S. troops stationed at Ft. Hood Army Post.
The auditions are open to women aged 18 years and older. The process includes a preliminary audition, a semi final audition and a final audition. All interested women are invited to attend the preliminary audition scheduled Saturday, Oct. 4 from 10:00 a.m. â 4:00 p.m. at the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Studio in Valley Ranch.

The semi finals will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11 at the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Dance Studio in Valley Ranch. The finals are scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 8:00pm - 10:00pm at Cowboys Red River. While preliminary and semi final auditions are closed to the public, the final auditions will be open to the public. Family, friends and fans are encouraged to attend. A panel of VIP and celebrity judges will select the 2003-2004 Dallas Desperados Dancers
Arena football is a fast, high-scoring, high-energy game, and the Dallas Desperados Dancers are a huge part of the game night experience. The Dallas Desperados â who are returning to American Airlines Center this spring â will kick off their 2004 season the weekend of Feb. 6-8. Season ticket packages are available for purchase by calling the Desperados ticket office at 972-785-4900.
