
Dallas Burn announce voting for Best XI

DALLAS - The Dallas Burn announced today that they are conducting an on-line balloting for fans to select the Best XI in the past 9 year Dallas Burn history. Fans can go to www.dallasburn.com and vote for their all-time Dallas Burn Best XI. The voting goes through October 14th.
"The first 9 years of Dallas Burn history is significant to a lot of people," said Burn President and General Manager Greg Elliott. "The Burn players from the past and present need to recognized and honored for their contribution to the team and organization. There is no better way to do this than to have our great fans of the Dallas metroplex select the Dallas Burn Best XI".
Upon the conclusion of the voting on Oct 14th, the fan's selected Best XI will be unveiled at the Burn's last regular season home match on Saturday October 16th. The Dallas Burn Best XI will also receive special recognition in a place of honor at the team's new Frisco Soccer & Entertainment Center facility beginning in the spring of 2005.
Upon the conclusion of play for the Dallas Burn in 2004, the team will be changing name and identity to FC Dallas and will play in the new 21,193 seat stadium at the Frisco Soccer & Entertainment Center beginning in the spring of 2005.
