PORTLAND - Portland LumberJax goalie and Community Relations Director Dallas Eliuk is a big kind at heart. Always has, always will be. A comic book and action figure collector, Eliuk is just as likely to be found at a Toys "R" Us as at the gym. As Community Relations Director, Eliuk makes countless visits to local Oregon schools to promote a healthy lifestyle as it relates to lacrosse. Teaming with his wife, 105.1 the Buzz's Daria, the celebrity couple has produced an acrylic painting of their two dogs, Pinkie and Tyke, to auction off for the Children's Trust Fund of Oregon.

The painting goes up for auction Thursday, April 24 at the Children's Trust Fund of Oregon (CTFO) 2008 Blue Ribbon Celebration from 5-7 p.m. at the Governor Hotel. All proceeds from the piece will go directly to the CTFO. Many local celebrities, including Dallas and Daria, were provided with a canvas, paints and brushes to create their own interpretation of "Happy and Healthy Families." Celebrities include Rama the Elephant and Tracy Barry from KGW to name a few.
