November 6, 2009 - United States Hockey League (USHL)
Waterloo Black Hawks News Release
After a 7-4 loss to the Omaha Lancers two weeks earlier, the Waterloo Black Hawks fell by the same score Friday night at Omaha's Civic Auditorium.
Erik Haula scored four goals on top of two assists, while Matt White put the puck in twice, with three assists. Tyler Lapic netted a power play tally, as Omaha went three for six on the advantage.
As was the case in late October, a third period rally brought the Black Hawks to within two. Zach Palmquist recorded the first two markers, while Tyler Barnes and Patrick Divjak each chipped in a score.
The Hawks take another crack at a western division opponent Saturday, hosting the Lincoln Stars on home ice at 7:05. SpongeBob will be at the game, sponsored by MidWest One Bank and Courier Communications.
