-Dakota players will visit three Bismarck elementary schools this week as part of the Reading Wizards Program.
-The Arkansas RimRockers moved Monday's practice to a local high school gym and worked out for a full house.
-Idaho and the local girl scouts are sponsoring "One Warm Coat Drive" at Friday's game vs. Bakersfield.
-Sioux Falls is hosting the Empire Mall Star Search competition on Saturday, Jan. 13.
MIDWEEK ASSIGNMENTS: The Seattle Sonics assigned center Mouhamed Sene to the Idaho Stampede and the Orlando Magic assigned forward James Augustine to the Anaheim Arsenal on Wednesday. Augustine is expected to be in uniform when the Arsenal is host to Austin tonight. Sene makes his Stampede debut Friday against Bakersfield.
COMPARING SEASONS: There have been 14 NBA to D-League player assignments this season, the same number as this time last season. There have also been five GATORADE Call-Ups this season, up two from this point in the 2005-06 season.
