MLK SHOWCASE SCHEDULE: It starts Sunday at the Crown Coliseum in
Fayetteville, N.C.
Sunday, January 15 (all times eastern)
11 a.m. Austin vs Arkansas
2 p.m. Tulsa vs Albuquerque
5 p.m. Florida vs Fayetteville
8 p.m. Roanoke vs Fort Worth
Monday, January 16 (all times eastern)
11 a.m. Albuquerque vs Austin
2 p.m. Arkansas vs Florida
5 p.m. Fort Worth vs Tulsa
8 p.m. Fayetteville vs Roanoke
WHO ARE THESE GUYS? Florida's first 18 games have come against only Fayetteville, Austin and Roanoke. The Flame and Arkansas meet for the first time this season Monday at the MLK Showcase.
I KNOW THESE DUDES: Tulsa and Albuquerque's 2 p.m. meeting on Sunday is the seventh between the 66ers and the T-Birds. Fayetteville and Florida (5 p.m.) have played five times.
SHOOTOUT AT THE OK DORELL: Florida wing player Dorell Wright, on assignment from the Miami HEAT, came off the bench to convert 15-of-22 field goal attempts and score 32 points in 32 minutes against Roanoke on Friday.
ASSIGNMENTS? WE DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' ASSIGNMENTS: Austin is the hottest team in the D-League, having won four straight and six of the last seven. The Toros are also the only team in the league yet to have an NBA-assigned player on their roster.
ALUMNI CHECK...of note from NBA action on January 13.
- Bobby Simmons (Mobile) scored 20 points in 29 minutes for the Bucks.
- Coming off the Bobcats bench, Matt Carroll (Roanoke) scored 12 points
in 13 minutes.
- Jason Hart (Asheville) had 12 points and four rebounds in 21 minutes
for the Kings.
- Andray Blatche (Roanoke) converted both his FGA for four points in
five minutes for the Wizards.
CATCHING OMAR: When Fayetteville's Mike King takes the floor Sunday he will tie former teammate Omar Cook for the D-League career games played record at 153.
BOARD ROOM: Fort Worth's Ime Udoka is fourth on the D-League career rebounding list with 680.
TODAY ON NBA TV: The Albuquerque at Fort Worth game from January 6 airs at noon ET.

26 game in Austin.
- Arkansas Game and Fish Night is scheduled for February 3 at Alltel
Arena in North Little Rock.
