MOVE OVER PAPE: With a 33-point outburst to lead Florida to a road win over Roanoke on Friday, Flame guard Bracey Wright vaulted over Arkansas' Pape Sow to take over the top spot on the D-League scoring leader board. Wright, on assignment from the Minnesota Timberwolves, is averaging 28.0 points per game. Sow, designated to Arkansas from the Toronto Raptors, is averaging 25.5.
SCORING LEADERS

25.5 Pape Sow Arkansas RimRockers (on assignment from Raptors)
21.8 Ime Udoka Fort Worth Flyers
21.6 Anthony Grundy Roanoke Dazzle
20.8 Erik Daniels Fayetteville Patriots
MAY I HELP YOU? Behind every scorer is a player with a pocketful of dimes, so it's not a stretch to learn that the teams with the league's top two scorers also have the league's top two assist men. Kareem Reid of Arkansas and Andre Barrett of Florida currently lead the league with 7.8 and 7.7 assists per game, respectively.
YUTA SIGHTING: Making the most of a season-high 28 minutes, Albuquerque guard Yuta Tabuse converted the game-winning field goal with 10 seconds to play to lift the T-Birds to a 113-111 win at Arkansas and keep Coach Michael Cooper's club in first place. Arguably Japan's most famous basketball player, Tabuse came off the bench to score eight points and pass out nine assists.
NOTHING TO THIS SILLY GAME: Since reporting to Arkansas from the Raptors on November 20 Pape Sow has made it look easy, recording four double-doubles in as many outings. Sow is averaging 25.5 points and 12.8 rebounds per game.
MAKE IT EIGHT: The Atlanta Hawks assigned guard Donta Smith to the Arkansas RimRockers on Friday, increasing the total number of NBA players on assignment to the D-League so far in 2005-06 to eight. Smith is expected to be in a RimRockers uniform when the Fayetteville Patriots visit Alltel Arena on Sunday.
