San Jose CyberRays News Release
SAN JOSE (June 20, 2003) â The CyberRays have re-signed midfielder Ann Cook to their reserve roster after she cleared waivers Thursday.
Cook was waived to make room on the active roster for defender Amanda Cromwell, who was elevated from the reserve to the active roster after starting and playing the CyberRays' last seven matches.
Cook, 28, from Springfield, Mo., is one of the original 2001 CyberRays and was traded to the Washington Freedom, where she played the 2002 WUSA season. In February she was re-signed by the CyberRays as a free agent. She has started two matches and appeared in a total of five matches this season.
