
Cutters Bag A Seven Pointer

Edwin Rodriguez paced the Cutters in their 7-3 win over the Spikes in the series opener.
Rodriguez finished the night 2 for 4 with a three-run home run and two-run double, totaling a five RBI night.
Jake Holmes drove in the other two Cutters runs, finishing the night 2 for 4. Ben Pelletier and Alec Bohm also recorded two-hit nights for the Cutters in the win.
Ethan Lindow was outstanding again for the Crosscutters, allowing one run, unearned, over six innings of work. The southpaw surrendered three hits, while striking out five and lowering his ERA to 2.19 for the year. Austin Ross was untouchable, striking out six over two shutout innings of relief. The Cutters staff struck out 13 in total.
Williamsport improved to 17-19 at home and 5-7 against the Spikes with the win. The Cutters ended the night 5 for 7 with runners in scoring position. Rodriguez's home run was his 1st since June 29th at State College.
