Curve First Round Playoff Dates, Times Set

(ALTOONA, PA) – Below are the dates and times for the Altoona Curve's best-of-5 First Round Playoff series against the Akron Aeros, which begins next Wednesday, Sept. 3rd in Akron:

Game 1 Wednesday, September 3 at Akron 7:05 p.m.

Game 2 Thursday, September 4 at Akron 7:05 p.m.

Game 3 Friday, September 5 at Altoona 7:05 p.m.

Game 4*** Saturday, September 6 at Altoona 7:05 p.m.

Game 5*** Sunday, September 7 at Akron 4:05 p.m.

***If necessary

If the Curve advances to the Eastern League Championship Series, it would host Games 3, 4 and 5 at Blair County Sept. 11-13. Like the first round, the ELCS will be decided using a best-of-5 format.

Currently, fans can purchase full-game playoff ticket packages or individual seats to Games "A" and "B" at Blair County Ballpark. Game "A" represents Game 3 of the Akron series to be held on Friday, Sept. 5th. Game "B" will represent the next home playoff game to be played, regardless of round.
