Dayton Dragons News Release
DAYTON, OHIO-The Minor League injury rehabilitation assignment for Cincinnati Reds pitcher Johnny Cueto has been put on hold. Cueto will not pitch for the Dayton Dragons on Wednesday, May 8. Reds.com reported last week that Cueto was tentatively scheduled to pitch in Dayton on May 8, but Cueto's return to live action has been delayed as he returns from injury.
Further information on Cueto's first potential rehab start will be provided when it becomes available. Cueto is on the Reds 15-day disabled list with a strained right lat muscle. He has not pitched since April 13.
The Dragons open a nine-game home stand on Wednesday at Fifth Third Field vs. the Lansing Lugnuts at 7:00 p.m.
