Crystal Palace Players to 'Tailgate' Before Chelsea Match

July 22nd 2009 - Baltimore MD - Crystal Palace Baltimore is pleased to announce that their players and coaches will participate in the "Tailgating Extravaganza" event which takes place prior to the sold-out Chelsea vs. AC Milan match in Lot "O" at Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium this Friday, July 24, 2009. The Palace players will be giving away team posters and signing autographs for fans from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the Crystal Palace tent. ESPN Radio will be broadcasting live from Lot "O" and have scheduled interviews with the players and coaches.

The "Tailgating Extravaganza" is hosted by the Baltimore International Festival (BIF) and CBS Radio. A wide variety of food and drink vendors will be on hand to keep everyone hydrated and energized. Immediately after the Chelsea-AC Milan match, Palace will refocus on the task at hand as they take on Charlotte at UMBC Stadium at 7:00 pm, Saturday, July 25, in a battle for the fifth and final playoff spot. This is Baltimore's final home game of the season and has been designated "Fan Appreciation Night" with a special ticket price of just $10 for everyone (regularly $16) and a free team poster for the first 2,000 fans through the gates.
