
Cruz named Sher-Wood player of the week

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Fayetteville Fire Antz goaltender, Jomar Cruz, has been named the Sher-wood Hockey "Player of the Week."
Cruz played in four games and finished with a 3-0-0-1 record. He allowed nine goals, had a 1.92 goal against average, had 59 saves and a 94.4 save percentage.
Pee Dee's Shaun Aebig was named runner-up after scoring three goals and five assists in three games.
The first two weekends were combined in the first player of the week award. Each week will run from Monday through Sunday with the award being announced each Tuesday from here on.
