Crush release Rodman
December 14, 2004 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Maywood Buzz News Release
The Orange County Crush Basketball Team has been asked by the Management of Dennis Rodman (Prince Marketing Group), for his immediate release from his contract with the O.C. CRUSH. His request has been granted. Our job in the ABA (American Basketball Association) is to support athletes to get to the next level, while providing affordable NBA type entertainment to the public. If any of our athletes feel that their goals can be better facilitated in another ABA city, we will do our best to accommodate them.
Mr. Rodman and his Management, believes he can pursue his NBA comeback in an area and "County" where support of a Team and his unique talents will be more appreciated. We wish Mr. Rodman well in his pursuit of getting back to the NBA.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
