DENVER, Colo. - When the Colorado Crush opens their sixth season in the AFL on Sunday at 2 p.m. against the Columbus Destroyers they will be able to be heard over the airwaves on SIRIUS Satellite Radio, the Arena Football League announced Friday.
The original in satellite radio, SIRIUS will broadcast a total of five Crush games this season on its official AFL station, Channel 130.
In addition to the broadcasts, SIRIUS will also be airing an hour-long weekly highlight show This Week in the AFL.
"The AFL is excited to be working with SIRIUS Satellite Radio again to bring our fans across the country the best action and insight into Arena Football throughout the entire season," said AFL Network President MARC LOWITZ. "Listeners will be able to hear a great package of games every weekend and also be able to catch up on everything taking place on and off the field with PETER SCHWARTZ and WAYNE MORRIS during their weekly one hour show, This Week in the AFL."
This Week in the AFL, hosted by Peter Schwartz and former AFL player Wayne Morris airs every Thursday (7:00-8:00 pm ET) exclusively on SIRIUS channel 126. Schwartz and Morris cover all the latest AFL news and highlights, take calls from listeners and preview upcoming games.
