
"AFL Beyond The Boards" Chosen By Fans As Official Name For AFL's Charitable Efforts

NEW YORK - The Arena Football League announced today that "AFL Beyond the Boards" was chosen by AFL fans to become the official name of the League's charitable arm.
Fan voting was conducted on www.arenafootball.com from February 18-22 with "AFL Beyond the Boards" receiving 38 percent of all votes.
"AFL Beyond the Boards" will serve as the overarching name of the AFL's charitable arm, which includes community relations, fundraising and youth football.
A breakdown of the final results:
- AFL Beyond the Boards - 38%
- AFL Impact - 25%
- Mission AFL - 15%
- AFL Gives - 14%
- AFL Scores - 8%
The name will take effect immediately.
