Colorado Crush News Release
The Colorado Crush have activated rookie offensive/defensive lineman Chris Watton and placed lineman Tank Reese on injured reserve with influenza, the team announced today.
Watton (6-3, 305, Baylor) spent the 2002 and 2003 seasons on the Denver Broncos practice squad prior to joining the Crush this season. He will make his AFL debut vs. Chicago on Sunday at 1 pm at Pepsi Center.
Reese (5-11, 294, Kansas State) was the Crush's starting noseguard in the team's first two games, recovering a fumble for a touchdown in the season opening loss at Orlando in his AFL debut. Per league rules, he must sit out a minimum of two games before he can return to the active roster.
The game will be televised nationally by NBC (KUSA in Denver) and broadcast on 850 KOA and on Sirius Satellite Radio channel 127.
